Ideal Candidate

This position is well suited for:

- Recent graduates of a Mechanical Engineering Technology, Manufacturing Engineering Technology, CNC Programming, Tool & Die, Machining, or related program.
- Current co-op students seeking practical industry experience.
- Individuals with coursework or hands-on experience in CAD/CAM software, CNC programming, machining, or manufacturing processes.
- Self-motivated learners who enjoy problem-solving and working in a team environment.

Updated Requirements

- Post-secondary diploma, degree, certification, or current enrollment in a related technical program.
- Experience with Mastercam through school, co-op placements, internships, or previous employment.
- Familiarity with CNC machining principles and manufacturing environments.
- Experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo, Inventor, or similar CAD software is considered an asset.
- Robust mechanical aptitude and interest in manufacturing.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Eagerness to learn new technologies and processes.
