3DBioFibR produces high-performance biofibers that enable product developers to unlock new solutions. Using a novel, patented contact drawing manufacturing technology, we supply biofibers, including collagen and spider silk, at a quality, scale, and cost that has never before been possible. As 3DBioFibR continues to grow, we are seeking a motivated and highly organized Business Development Associate to support both our Business Development and administrative functions.
This is a junior-level position offering broad exposure to the commercial and operational activities of a growing biotechnology company. The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting customer relationships and ensuring the Business Development team remains organized, responsive, and prepared for customer and partner interactions.
Responsibilities will include coordinating meetings and follow-ups, maintaining customer and opportunity information within the Company’s CRM, assisting with customer communications, conducting market research, and supporting conferences, events, and other Business Development activities. In addition, the Associate will provide administrative support across the organization, including scheduling, meeting coordination, travel arrangements, document organization, and general office administration. They will have strong written and verbal communication skills and an interest in developing their career in Business Development within a rapid-paced and growing biotechnology company.

Check out our website for more information: Support the Business Development team in maintaining strong and responsive relationships with partners, customers, and collaborators. Coordinate meetings, including scheduling, preparation of meeting materials, and tracking follow‑up activities. Assist with customer communications and ensure inquiries, requests, and action items are directed to the appropriate internal team members.
Support the preparation and organization of presentations, customer materials, product information, and other Business Development documentation. Assist the Business Development team in tracking partnering opportunities and ensuring timely follow‑up throughout the partnership development process. Conduct basic customer, company, and market research as required to support Business Development activities.
Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date partner, contact, opportunity, and activity information within the Company’s CRM. Enter and update meeting notes, customer/partner interactions, follow‑up activities, and opportunity information. Help maintain an organized pipeline and support regular pipeline and customer/partner relationship reviews.
Track upcoming meetings, customer commitments, follow‑ups, and key deadlines.
Coordinate travel arrangements for the Business Development and management teams as required, including transportation, accommodations, itineraries, and related logistics. Support the planning and execution of conferences, trade shows, customer meetings, and company events, including registration, travel, scheduling, lead sourcing, meeting preparation and generation of marketing materials.
Prepare and execute customer shipments. Assist with hosting customers, partners, collaborators, and other visitors at the 3DBioFibR facility. Support scheduling and calendar management for members of the Business Development and management teams as required.
Maintain organized shared files, customer and partner records, templates, presentations, and other Business Development and company documentation. Assist with general office coordination and day‑to‑day administrative requirements, including document management, filing, supplies, and other organizational needs. Provide additional coordination and administrative support to the Business Development and management teams as priorities arise.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Marketing, Communications, Life Sciences, or a related field. A background or education in science, biotechnology, life sciences, or a related technical field is considered an asset. Strong written and verbal technical communication skills and a professional approach to customer and partner interactions.
Comfortable communicating and building relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Experience with CRM platforms or customer databases is an asset. Previous experience in a startup, small business, or high‑growth environment is an asset. #
