Pilates Instructor

At Ludica Movement Therapy, we believe movement should be natural, adaptable, and empowering. We combine Pilates and manual therapies to help people build strength, manage pain and injuries, and stay active in the things they love.

We’re looking for an experienced, comprehensively certified Pilates Instructor to join our multidisciplinary team. This is an excellent opportunity for an instructor who wants to build a strong private client practice while also teaching group Reformer and Mat classes.

Who We’re Looking For

- 3+ years of experience teaching both private sessions and group classes
- Comprehensive Pilates certification across Mat, Reformer, and Apparatus
- A strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and movement from a rehabilitation perspective
- Experience and confidence working with special populations, including clients managing injuries, chronic pain, or other health conditions
- The ability to assess, adapt, and tailor sessions to individual needs, goals, and limitations
- A warm, confident teaching style with solid communication and hands-on cueing skills




- An interest in working collaboratively with physiotherapists and other practitioners to support client care
- A desire to build a sustainable practice of private and duet clients alongside group teaching

Responsibilities

- Lead engaging, inclusive group Reformer and Mat classes while appropriately adapting exercises for different abilities and experience levels
- Provide individualized private and duet sessions based on each client’s goals, needs, and movement history
- Apply strong knowledge of anatomy and movement principles to help clients build strength, mobility, confidence, and body awareness
- Maintain clear, consistent, and timely client charting to support communication and continuity of care across disciplines
- Work collaboratively with physiotherapists and other practitioners when clients are receiving multidisciplinary care
- Build strong, professional relationships with clients and contribute to their long-term progress
- Maintain a high standard of teaching, client care, communication, and studio professionalism
- Continue developing your skills through ongoing education and professional development
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming studio
