SciNatured is launching a new collaborative product-development lab where kids work alongside professionals to help create a real consumer product — from character and visual identity to packaging, animation, video and launch content.

We’re looking for a Creative Media & Design Facilitator who enjoys creating with kids, not just for them.

This role is part designer, part content creator, part creative mentor.

What you’ll doYou’ll work with a small group of kids to help them develop the visual world around a new product.

That may include

- guiding kids through character design and modification
- helping them develop colours, patterns, graphics and visual ideas
- creating moodboards and simple design exercises
- turning children’s sketches and ideas into polished design directions
- helping develop packaging prototypes
- introducing kids to basic branding and visual communication
- helping create simple animation, motion graphics or character movement
- filming workshops, interviews, experiments and behind-the-scenes moments
- helping kids participate in filming and content creation
- editing short-form social/video content
- collaborating with SciNatured on the final visual identity and product presentation

What we’re looking forYou don’t need to be a senior agency designer. We’re more interested in someone who is:
- comfortable working with children
- curious and collaborative
- able to guide without taking over
- confident with graphic design
- comfortable with video production and editing




- interested in character design, animation or motion
- comfortable experimenting and developing ideas in real time

Experience with tools such as Illustrator, Photoshop, Canva, Figma, Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve or CapCut is helpful. Experience in packaging design is a bonus, but not required.

ImportantThis is not a role where you receive a brief and disappear to design the finished product.

The kids are part of the creative team.

Your job is to help them understand the process, develop their ideas and turn those ideas into something that can become part of a real product.

The project will also be filmed for SciNatured’s educational media channels, so being comfortable on camera is a plus.

- Approx. 1.5–2 hour sessions
- Adaptable weekday schedule
- Paid project-based role
- Potential to continue into future SciNatured product, media and museum co-creation projects
