Overview

Burgertone in Mount Pleasant is hiring Crew Members to join our team. This is a cross-trained, all-round position — every team member is trained to work across the kitchen line, food prep, cashier, and cleaning duties, and to help with opening and closing the restaurant. We're looking for reliable, hardworking people who are comfortable moving between different stations as needed during a shift.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook food on the kitchen line, following recipes and food safety standards
- Assist with food preparation (prepping ingredients, portioning, restocking stations)
- Operate the cash register, take orders, and handle customer transactions
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, dining area, and equipment throughout the shift
- Support opening procedures (setup, stocking, equipment checks)



and closing procedures (cleaning, cash reconciliation support, securing the restaurant)
- Follow all food safety and workplace safety guidelines
- Work collaboratively with teammates and management to keep service running smoothly

Requirements
- Valid Food Handler Certificate (required)
- Ability to work in a quick-paced workplace across multiple roles (kitchen, cashier, cleaning)
- Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting up to 25–30 lbs
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible shifts, including some evenings/weekends
- Friendly, customer-focused attitude
- Previous restaurant or food service experience is an asset but not required — training provided

Pay: $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 6.0 – 40.0 per week
