As a Crisis Response Counsellor, you will work collaboratively with clients to assess their needs and link them to community services.
Providing support through various means such as in-person, phone, and virtual assistance, ensures that clients receive immediate and appropriate care. You will play a crucial role in crisis assessment, intervention, and follow-up services. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct crisis assessments to identify individual needs
- Provide solutions-focused intervention during crises
- Collaborate with community partners for effective service delivery
- Advocate for clients to access necessary services
- Offer short-term follow-up support for ongoing needs Requirements:
- Degree/diploma in mental health or addictions
- Minimum 3 years experience in direct service
- Valid G class driver’s license
- Current Police Vulnerable Sector Check
