Job Title: Clinical Trial Manager

Location: Toronto, Ontario

Type: Contract - 1 year with potential extension

Compensation: 55.00 - 60.00 per hour CAD

Work Model: Hybrid – onsite and remote (50% onsite)

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Trial Manager (CTM) to oversee and coordinate our upcoming clinical trials. This role offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic team, ensuring regulatory compliance and smooth trial execution across multiple sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in trial management, budget oversight, and site collaboration. Responsibilities

- Ensure the trial is conducted in compliance with GCPICH, local/global regulations, applicable SOPs, and according to the trial protocol by overseeing CRO and internal team activities.
- Creation, management, and review of the R/OPU trial budget to ensure appropriate level of financial oversight and planning accuracy.
- Timely budget updates based on trial changes.
- Appropriate trial-specific training of R/OPU internal and external partners is performed in line with Trial Training Plan.
- Oversees outsourcing of vendor services in the R/OPU in accordance to operating models and governance.
- Maintain oversight during clinical trial conduct including adherence to GCP and all global and local regulatory requirements; compliance with SOPs and continuous risk monitoring/mitigation.

Requirements




- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in clinical trial operations, management, or related field.
- Proven experience managing multi-site clinical trial budgets, including forecasting and variance analysis.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid setting, with flexibility to be onsite approximately 50% of the time in the Toronto/Burlington area.
- Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences, Life Sciences, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
