Embrace your passion for culture and community with Nogdawindamin Family and Community Services as a K'Chitwa Kwe/Shkaabewis (Helper) in Batchewana First Nation. This full time position focuses on developing cultural services that honor Anishnawbek traditions. As a K'Chitwa Kwe/Shkaabewis (Helper), you will report to the Anishinaabe Aadziwin Supervisor and assist in enhancing cultural service practices within the Agency.
Candidates should have a college diploma and three years of experience in social services.
Your role will embrace Aboriginal culture through community engagement and support. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with cultural service development and delivery
- Support the needs of Aboriginal communities and individuals
- Collaborate with supervisors on cultural initiatives
- Engage in community outreach and education efforts
- Uphold Anishnawbek traditions and teachings Requirements:
- College diploma in Social Services or Native Studies
- Three years' experience in social services
- Knowledge of Anishnawbek culture and traditions
- Valid Class 'G' Ontario Driver's Licence
- Satisfactory Criminal Records Check Contribute to meaningful cultural practices while making a difference in the community with Nogdawindamin.
