Role Overview
As Captain, you will be responsible for the safe conduct of flights throughout Central Mountain Air’s network. You’ll lead a professional flight crew, uphold the highest standards of airmanship and customer care, and ensure on-time, efficient operations that create a consistently positive travel experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Command Dash 8 operations in accordance with company SOPs and Canadian aviation regulations.
- Ensure safety, compliance, and operational excellence across all phases of flight.
- Deliver a reliable, comfortable, and customer-focused journey for passengers.
- Foster a professional, collaborative cockpit and cabin workplace.
Minimum Qualifications
- Flight time: 2,000 hours total time, including 1,000 hours of relevant experience and 500 hours PIC.
- Relevant experience includes: Multi‑engine, multi‑crew, IFR, and/or turbine time in 702/703/704/705 operations.
- Licensing: Canadian Commercial Pilot License with a valid Canadian ATPL and multi‑IFR rating.
- Medical: Valid Transport Canada Category 1 Medical Certificate.
- Security: Ability to obtain and maintain a RAIC.
- Travel: Valid passport; able to travel to/from the United States without restrictions.
- Record: No Transport Canada violations or suspensions.
- Work eligibility: Canadian citizen,
permanent resident, or holder of a valid Canadian work permit.
- Physical requirement: Ability to repeatedly lift 50 pounds without assistance.
- Meets all stated Canadian licensing, flight-time, medical, travel-authorization, work-eligibility, and physical requirements.
