As Data

Analyst, you actively contribute to various initiatives by analyzing data to solve business problems and providing valuable insights. You understand the insurance business domain and ensure your own tasks contribute to meeting the business objectives by applying appropriate methods and critical thinking and performing analysis. Autonomously perform descriptive and diagnostic analysis using recommended methods (ex: regression, cohort analysis, cluster analysis, A/B testing, factor analysis).

Design and develop metrics to enable descriptive analysis and diagnostic analysis. Autonomously design proof of concept and deliver with guidance a prototype analytical solution to enable effective storytelling and descriptive/diagnostic analysis. Extract, clean, reconcile and prepare the data required for the analysis.

You have 3-5 years of relevant experience in Business Intelligence or other relevant domain.



You have a University Degree in Business Intelligence, Computer Science, Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or equivalent technical experience. ACAS or FCAS designations are considered an asset.

You have positive knowledge and understanding of data analysis, programing, modeling techniques, data warehouse and data management, research, architecture and design. Sql, Python, R, Microsoft Fabric Experience with the following technologies is an asset: Service now , Jira, Databricks You influence change and are committed to continuous improvement, in order to exceed client expectations. CAD $60,574.00 to $100,956.00 CAD The salary amount for the successful candidate is determined by Co-operators in its discretion and will vary depending on several criteria including but not limited to: local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualification, experience and education. Employees may also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn additional compensation tied to individual and/or business performance, or other business metrics. #
