Delivery Lead

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Delivery Lead to lead the transformation from a traditional project-based delivery model to a product operating model. This role will be responsible for improving productivity, quality, delivery predictability, and time-to-market by establishing stable cross-functional teams, continuous delivery practices, and modern delivery disciplines.

During Phase 1, the Delivery Lead will partner closely with an external transformation team to design and implement the target operating model, establish delivery practices, and transition teams into the new model. The successful candidate will also build the internal delivery capability required to independently lead Phase 2 and scale the operating model across the broader organization.

Key Responsibilities

- Partner with the external transformation team to design and implement the target product operating model for Phase 1.
- Lead the transition from project-based delivery to stable, cross-functional product teams and continuous delivery.
- Build and lead a high-performing internal delivery organization capable of sustaining and scaling the transformation.
- Establish delivery governance, processes, standards, metrics, and operating disciplines required to support the new model.
- Drive improvements in productivity, quality, predictability, and time-to-market across delivery teams.
- Establish and promote modern delivery practices incorporating Agile, Lean, DevSecOps, and modern engineering principles.
- Manage delivery risks, issues, dependencies, and cross-team coordination.
- Build strong relationships across Business and Technology and ensure effective stakeholder engagement throughout the transformation.
- Develop the internal capabilities, knowledge,



and leadership required to independently execute Phase 2.
- Support the rollout and scaling of the operating model across additional products, teams, and value streams.
- Champion organizational change and drive adoption of new ways of working across the organization.

Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience leading enterprise application delivery, technology transformation, or large-scale delivery organizations.
- Demonstrated experience leading Agile and/or Product Operating Model transformations.
- Proven experience building and leading high-performing delivery organizations.
- Experience implementing and scaling new operating models across multiple teams, products, or value streams.
- Strong understanding of Agile, Lean, DevSecOps, continuous delivery, and modern engineering practices.
- Robust delivery management capabilities, including management of risks, dependencies, governance, metrics, and stakeholder expectations.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively across senior Business and Technology stakeholders.
- Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and organizational change capabilities.
- Experience establishing sustainable internal delivery capabilities following a transformation or consulting engagement.

Preferred Experience
- Previous experience leading Agile/Product Operating Model transformations within a major consulting organization, such as McKinsey, BCG, Bain, Accenture, Deloitte, or a comparable consulting environment.
- Experience working in large, complex enterprise environments.
- Experience leading transformations involving multiple technology teams, business units, products, and value streams.
- Demonstrated experience transitioning organizations from external transformation support to internally owned delivery.
