Position Information
This position is for Interventional Radiology.
This position requires rotations at the Civic and General campus.
Rotation/Shifts
Days, evenings and nights, including weekends, 8 hour shifts. Must be available for stand by and call back.

Basic Requirements
- Registration with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario;
- Three (3) years previous related experience;
- Eligible for Certification in CPR;
- Ability to operate relevant equipment and software for imaging, non imaging and patient care applications;
- Ability to perform Diagnostic Imaging procedures to professional standards;
- Ability to assist in invasive procedures;
- Knowledge of septic and aseptic techniques;
- Good written and verbal communication skills;
- Good interpersonal skills;
- Ability to multi-task;
- Good problem solving skills;
- Must be eligible to work in Canada.
Preferred Qualifications
- Eligible for registration of Interventional Radiology Certificate;
- Proficiency in English and French oral expression (level 4 - advanced) and comprehension (level 4 - advanced).
The Ottawa Hospital uses a 5-level language proficiency scale to define the required level of language skills in English and in French for positions at the Hospital, and to evaluate job candidate language skills.
