Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Diesel Mechanic to join our dynamic maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of heavy-duty equipment and vehicles, ensuring optimal performance and safety. Responsibilities

- Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on diesel engines, heavy equipment, and industrial machinery such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, and farm machinery.
- Conduct routine maintenance including oil changes, filter replacements, brake inspections, and fluid checks to prevent breakdowns.
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and schematics to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues accurately.
- Operate heavy machinery safely during repairs or testing procedures when necessary.
- Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams to identify faults effectively.
- Maintain detailed service records, work orders,



and inspection reports to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs while adhering to safety protocols and quality standards.

Qualifications

- Proven mechanic experience with a focus on diesel engines and heavy equipment repair.
- Dealership experience is highly preferred.
- Solid mechanical knowledge of excavators, cranes, forklifts, HVAC systems, and farm machinery.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and electrical testing devices.
- Ability to read schematics and technical manuals for troubleshooting complex issues.
- Experience with heavy lifting techniques and industrial equipment operation is a plus.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
- Knowledge of automotive repair standards, safety procedures, and maintenance best practices.
