Responsibilities

- Serve meals to residents with professionalism, kindness, and efficiency, ensuring timely delivery and proper portioning.
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as setting up serving stations, portioning ingredients, and ensuring meals meet quality standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of dining areas, kitchens, utensils, and food storage spaces in accordance with health regulations.




- Support meal planning and presentation to enhance residents’ dining experience while adhering to dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and prevent contamination during all stages of food service.
- Provide friendly customer service by engaging positively with residents, addressing their needs promptly, and creating a welcoming atmosphere.
- Help with general cleaning duties including dishwashing, sanitizing surfaces, and organizing supplies to uphold hygiene standards.

Qualifications

- willing to train the right candidate .

Food Safe Level 1 is an asset (or willingness to obtain) Strong work ethic and willingness to learn

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Good communication and organizational skills

Reliable, dependable and flexible with scheduling

Criminal record check in the vulnerable sector
