Lead major gift fundraising and transform donor engagement with Breakthrough T1D in Western Canada. As a proactive and strategic fundraising skilled, drive impactful change for individuals with type 1 diabetes. Breakthrough T1D is seeking an experienced Director of Leadership Giving for the Western Canada region.

This pivotal role seeks a candidate with over seven years of leadership experience in fundraising and a passion for building meaningful donor relationships. Daily responsibilities include cultivating major gifts and managing a talented team in Alberta and the Prairies to enhance fundraising effectiveness. Key Responsibilities:

- Manage a diverse portfolio of major gift donors
- Oversee fundraising strategies for team performance




- Develop personalized donor engagement strategies
- Cultivate relationships resulting in new revenue streams
- Recruit and support volunteer leadership for campaigns Requirements:
- Minimum 7 years in fundraising leadership
- Proven track record in major gift solicitation
- Strong analytical and strategic planning skills
- Bilingualism in French and English is an asset
- Valid Driver’s License and personal vehicle required Drive significant fundraising initiatives, enhance donor experiences, and lead transformational efforts with Breakthrough T1D in Western Canada.
