Scintilla, is our unified business intelligence and consumer insights platform that provides suppliers and merchants with a "single source of truth" for decision-making As a Manager, Business Development for Data Ventures, you will be responsible for driving sales and managing strategic partnerships for Walmart Scintilla. You will play a pivotal role in expanding our customer base by introducing the platform and value proposition of Scintilla, ultimately selling subscriptions. This role requires a deep understanding of data analytics, a strong sales acumen the ability communicate a vast value proposition, and an understanding of how to forge relationships with key stakeholders.
Sales and Business Development: Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for Walmart Scintilla subscriptions. Self-guided research to understand industry trends and customer needs Relationship Management: Negotiate contracts and close deals to drive subscription sales. Work closely with product development and marketing teams to align sales strategies with product offerings.
Performance Tracking and Reporting: Monitor sales performance and provide regular reports to senior management. Analyze sales data to identify opportunities for growth and improvement. Daily use of CRM tools (Saleforce) to manage sales pipeline and track customer interactions. Use of our sales qualification framework, MEDDPICC,
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Data Analytics, or a related field
- MBA preferred.

Chain, Logistics and Replenishment data and analytics eCommerce environments and Path-to-Purchase analytics Retail Media ad targeting capabilities and advertising performance analytics. Minimum of 7+ years of experience in sales, business development, or a related role, preferably in the data analytics or technology sector. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing strategic partnerships.
Strong understanding of data analytics and its applications in business decision-making. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. Opportunity to work with one of the largest and most influential retail companies in the world.
