Role Description The Director of Public Relations is a full time, on-site role based in Toronto, ON, responsible for shaping and communicating AIOTF Software’s narrative to external audiences. This role oversees the development and execution of PR strategies that highlight the company’s AI portfolio, commercialization success stories, and leadership in the AI ecosystem. Day-to-day responsibilities include drafting and approving press releases, managing media relationships, coordinating interviews and briefings, and serving as a primary spokesperson when needed.

The Director will collaborate with executive leadership, marketing, and portfolio companies to align messaging across channels, prepare talking points, and manage communications around major corporate announcements and events. The role also includes monitoring media coverage, analyzing PR performance, and proactively identifying opportunities to strengthen the company’s reputation and visibility.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Public Relations and Media Relations, with experience managing relationships across traditional and digital outlets.
- Proficiency in Strategic Communications and Communication, including message development, narrative building, and executive communications.
- Demonstrated ability to create and oversee Press Releases and other external communications materials.




- Experience leading PR strategy in technology, software, or AI-focused organizations is highly beneficial.
- Proven track record in crisis communication, reputation management, and handling sensitive or high-profile announcements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical topics into clear, accessible messages.
- Leadership experience managing teams or cross-functional projects, with strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications are an asset.
