Duties

- Safely operate delivery vehicles, including trucks and vans, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Load, unload, and secure freight using equipment such as forklifts when necessary
- Deliver freight to various locations efficiently while providing exceptional customer service
- Inspect vehicles regularly to ensure proper functioning and perform basic automotive repairs as needed
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, shipment documentation, and safety records
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve issues promptly




- Operate heavy equipment responsibly when handling large or bulky freight items

Experience

- Proven experience in commercial driving, with a valid driver’s license suitable for the vehicle type assigned
- Familiarity with forklift operation, freight handling, and heavy equipment usage
- Knowledge of automotive repair basics to troubleshoot minor vehicle issues on the go
- Prior experience in logistics or delivery services is highly desirable
- Ability to operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently in various environments
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate record keeping
- Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with team members and customers
