Electrical Engineering
Co-op As a subsidiary of L3Harris Technologies and within the Integrated Mission Systems Segment, the WESCAM division develops the most advanced optical sensor and targeting systems for global defense and military sectors, National Security, Search & Rescue and Airborne law enforcement agencies. From long-range covert surveillance missions to search and rescue operations, our MX-series systems, and the mission systems solutions they are a part of, produce stabilized high-magnification electro1-optical and infrared images from airborne, marine and ground based platforms, enabling our customers to see first and act first.
The Electrical
Engineering department at L3HARRIS WESCAM is looking for a co-op student to work as a junior engineer on hands-on projects. You will work with your team to conduct various testing, analyses and presentations. If you like technical challenges and if you are looking for a valuable,
hands‑on co‑op experience, L3HARRIS WESCAM is for you.
Work as part of the Electrical Engineering team to support current and existing product designs Verify, test and debug new and existing circuit card assemblies Investigate, analyze and recommend improvements for product reliability, performance and cost reductions Electronic design skills shown through practical course work or experience Familiarity with standard test equipment like oscilloscopes, multi‑meters and signal generators Strong mathematical and analysis skills Proficient in use of Microsoft Office products Proven ability to identify performance issues and implement the necessary changes in a timely and effective manner A self‑starting, hands‑on, eager to work approach Enrollment in a Bachelors or Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering (or similar) program For applicants with disabilities, we will provide you with accommodation so that you have what you need in order to be at your best.
