Role Description The Electrical Project Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Orangeville, ON. This role oversees the planning, execution, and delivery of high voltage and civil construction projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating project resources, managing subcontractors, reviewing electrical designs and specifications, and monitoring construction progress.

The Electrical Project

Manager prepares project estimates, schedules, and reports, and works closely with clients, engineers, and field teams to resolve technical issues and maintain explicit communication. The role also involves enforcing safety standards, conducting site inspections,



and supporting continuous improvement in project workflows.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of electricity and high voltage systems, including power distribution and substation equipment.
- Experience in electrical contracting, with the ability to manage multiple projects and coordinate field crews and subcontractors.
- Proficiency in budgeting, cost control, and project financial management for construction projects.
- Skills in electrical design and interpretation of drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Background in electrical engineering or a related discipline, with the ability to apply engineering principles in the field.
- Relevant education such as a diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; professional designation or trade certification is an asset.
- Proven project management experience, including scheduling, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
- Commitment to occupational health and safety, with familiarity in applicable codes, standards, and regulations.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to job sites as required.
