Become a vital part of BRP’s calibration team as an Engine Calibration Technician, supporting the Ski-Doo and ROTAX teams in optimizing 4-stroke snowmobile engines. Engage in performance measurement and continuous improvement. As part of BRP's innovative team in Valcourt, Quebec, this role involves key tasks such as developing calibration software and supporting technicians in engine calibration and testing.
You will work closely with cutting-edge technologies, including E-TEC and ACE engines, to enhance vehicle performance, emissions, and NVH objectives. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and validate architecture calibration software
- Support testing with E-TEC and ACE engines
- Diagnose system failures and analyze responses
- Coordinate optimization testing on dynamometers
- Contribute to exhaust systems and vehicle architecture development Requirements:
- DEC in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics
- Strong interest in engine calibration and thermodynamics
- Familiarity with INCA, MDA, nCode, SGE, MATLAB
- Curiosity about recent powertrain technologies
