Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated English as a Second Language (ESL) Teacher to join our educational team. This role involves helping non-native English speakers improve their language skills through engaging and effective instruction. The ideal candidate will have experience working with adults, tutoring, and classroom experience, along with a strong command of English.

Duties

- Develop and deliver engaging ESL lessons tailored to students’ proficiency levels
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages active participation
- Assess students’ language skills regularly and provide constructive feedback
- Incorporate various teaching methods and educational resources to enhance learning outcomes
- Support students in improving their reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills in English
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance




- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum materials and improve instructional strategies
- Adapt lesson plans to meet the diverse needs of learners from different backgrounds

Skills

- Proven experience working with adults in an educational setting
- Strong ability to motivate and engage students
- Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken
- Effective teaching skills with the ability to explain concepts clearly and patiently
- Classroom experience is highly desirable, especially in ESL or language instruction
- Cultural sensitivity and adaptability to work with diverse student populations
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple classes or groups simultaneously

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
