Lead Emergency Health Services in Edmonton as the Executive Director. Drive strategic initiatives, policy development, and operational efficiency to enhance healthcare delivery for Albertans. As the Executive Director for Emergency Health Services, you will report to the Assistant Deputy Minister and be a vital advisor on healthcare strategies.
Your role encompasses overseeing ground and air ambulance services, compliance, clinical governance, and more. You will forge key partnerships with various stakeholders to ensure timely access to high-quality emergency services. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead management of ambulance services, communication, and dispatch
- Develop and implement policies to improve health outcomes
- Collaborate with health care professionals and municipal partners
- Oversee operational activities to meet government priorities
- Inspire creative practices within the branch team Requirements:
- Extensive senior management experience in health care
- Proven track record in strategic policy and planning
- Deep understanding of legislative frameworks and accountability
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills
