Infinity Flooring is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced flooring sales professional to join our team.

We are an established, locally owned Ottawa flooring company providing quality flooring products, professional installation and exceptional customer service to residential and commercial clients.

This is not a typical retail sales position. We’re looking for someone who understands flooring, knows how to sell it, and can confidently guide customers from their initial inquiry through product selection, quoting and closing the sale.

THE OPPORTUNITY

As a Flooring Sales Associate, you will work directly with homeowners, designers, contractors, builders and commercial clients to help them select the right flooring solution for their project.

You will be responsible for developing relationships, generating sales, preparing quotes, following up with customers and ultimately closing business.

There is also an opportunity to become involved in commercial sales and business development for the right candidate.

WE’RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO:

Has proven flooring sales experience and understands the flooring industry

Can confidently sell carpet, luxury vinyl, hardwood, laminate and other flooring products

Understands flooring installation, subfloor considerations, transitions and basic installation requirements

Can read a floor plan or understand measurements and square footage

Has experience preparing quotes and understanding material, labour and project costs

Is comfortable discussing pricing,



overcoming objections and closing the sale

Understands the importance of follow-up and building long-term customer relationships

Is organized and able to manage multiple customers and projects at different stages

Has strong communication and interpersonal skills

Takes ownership of their customers and follows a project through from beginning to end

Is comfortable working with homeowners as well as contractors, designers and other industry professionals

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Meet with customers in our showroom and/or at project locations

Assess customer needs and recommend appropriate flooring solutions

Prepare accurate estimates and quotes

Follow up on leads and outstanding quotes

Manage the customer experience from initial contact through order and installation

Develop relationships with contractors, designers, builders and commercial clients

Generate new business and identify sales opportunities

Maintain accurate customer and project information

Work closely with our warehouse and installation teams to ensure projects run smoothly

Represent Infinity Flooring professionally in the Ottawa market
