We are looking for an experienced, mechanically inclined Shop Hand who is comfortable taking on a wide variety of tasks. This is a jack-of-all-trades position suited to someone who is confident around vehicles, trailers, equipment, and general shop work. This position is a Monday to Friday schedule with the occasional evenings and weekends.

The successful candidate must be dependable, safety-minded, physically capable, and able to recognize what needs to be done and take initiative.

Candidates must have at least three years of relevant hands-on experience involving:

- Connecting, towing, and maneuvering trailers, including gooseneck and trailers up to 40 feet
- Operating skid steers and forklifts confidently - not simply at a basic competency level
- Performing basic vehicle maintenance, troubleshooting, and mechanically inclined work
- Completing general repairs, maintenance,



and miscellaneous hands-on shop tasks
- Loading, unloading, moving, and organizing equipment and materials
- Performing physically demanding work, including regularly lifting and carrying 50–75 lbs.

Applicants must have all of the following to be considered:

- Valid Class 5 driver’s license

- Reliable personal vehicle

- Valid forklift certification
- Minimum three years of relevant experience

- Solid mechanical aptitude
- Ability to safely perform physically demanding work

Preferred Qualifications The following experience and certifications are considered assets but are not required:

- Skid steer certification

- Welding experience
- Experience inspecting, servicing, or handling fire extinguishers
- Experience handling welding gas cylinders

- H2S Alive

- Confined Space Entry

- Fall Protection
- Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG)
