North America Customer
Fulfillment seeks an experienced Finance Manager to join the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A;) team to drive business planning and reporting for the Canadian Fulfillment network. The successful candidate will have demonstrated ability to influence business owners, support thoughtful decision‑making, and adapt to a rapidly evolving environment. Regular collaboration with executives and various business units across Amazon will allow you the opportunity to exhibit your verbal and written communication skills.
This role will partner closely with a broad range of Finance and Business leaders and will work on designing, developing, and maintaining Weekly Business Reviews, Weekly Flash Reports, Monthly Business Reviews, and reporting productivity drivers/efficiency of labor at a network and regional level. It also focuses on identifying areas of improvement in the reporting and analysis of business performance and working with relevant stakeholders to deploy solutions. Utilize solid financial knowledge and business acumen to build financial models and analyses with little guidance and draw conclusions and make recommendations that deliver results, and drive improvements Manage development of weekly and monthly financial reviews, forecasting,
and reporting models and their continuous innovation and communication to Financial and Operations partners Identify and solve complex data integrity issues and collaborate with stakeholders on resolution, insisting on the highest standards. 5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience ~ Bachelor’s degree 5+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience ~5+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits) experience ~ MBA, or CPA ~ Knowledge of SQL/ETL ~ Experience working with large‑scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards) ~ Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results Amazon is an equal prospect employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.
