Duties
- Performs various operations within the Service Group including Shipping/Receiving, Glastic, Shear, Slitter, Copper Shop, Frame Shop, Core Cutting, and Nameplates & Labels.
- Back-up for Varnish Operator as required
- Knock-down and preparation for shipment of enclosures as required
- Support production by staging product or parts as appropriate or as directed
- Design, cut and fabricate crates, skids, jigs, etc as required
- Responsible for the quality and quantity of assigned work
- Keeps a close check on specification details and reports any variation immediately to superior
Qualifications
- Must have a broad knowledge of methods, techniques, terms and definitions used in the Service Group
- Must be fully versed in Manufacturing, Microsoft Office and shipping software
- Will be required to perform all functions within the Service Group
- Must maintain required production output in terms of customer specification, quality and timely completion
- Must ensure safe work procedures are followed
- Must maintain adequate materials for production flow and order as required
Full-time Hourly Starting Rate - $29.64.
Shift and Premium Pay Available:
- $1.00/hr. – Afternoon shift premium
- $1.50/hr. – Dedicated trainer premium
- $3.00/hr. – Shift advisor premium
Full range - $29.64 - $33.68 – as per the collective agreement.
