Role Description The Folder Gluer Operator is a full-time, afternoon shift (Monday to Friday, 3pm-11pm), on-site role based at our facility in Ingersoll, ON. The individual in this position will set up, operate, and monitor folder gluer machines to produce folding cartons according to job specifications and quality standards. Typical responsibilities include reading and interpreting job tickets, adjusting machine settings, performing minor maintenance, and conducting regular quality checks to ensure accurate folding, gluing, and packaging.

The role also involves troubleshooting production issues, maintaining a clean and safe work area,



and collaborating with the production team to meet daily schedules and efficiency targets.

The Folder Gluer

Operator will follow all safety procedures and participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and product quality.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated experience operating folder gluer or similar converting/packaging machinery, including setup, adjustment, and basic maintenance.
- Solid mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve machine and production issues efficiently.
- Attention to detail and quality-focused mindset, with the ability to perform visual and dimensional inspections and follow written job specifications.
- Good understanding of manufacturing safety practices and willingness to follow company safety policies and procedures at all times.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with press operators, supervisors, and other team members in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math and measurement skills, including reading a tape measure and using simple hand tools and gauges.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift materials as required, and perform repetitive tasks while maintaining accuracy and productivity.
- Previous experience in folding carton, printing, or packaging manufacturing is an asset; high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
