Reindeer Academy is a vibrant, community-focused education center dedicated to providing high-quality language, arts, and music education. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic, passionate, and qualified French Teacher to join our growing faculty for the upcoming school term.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging French language lessons to K–12 students (French Immersion support, core French, or beginner-to-advanced tracks).
- Design tailored lesson plans emphasizing speaking, listening, reading comprehension, and grammar.
- Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and communicate regularly with parents regarding student development.
- Create an interactive, positive, and culturally enriching classroom setting.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Native or near-native fluency in French and English (written and verbal).
- Bachelor’s degree in French Language/Literature, Education, or a related field.
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience teaching or tutoring French, particularly with children and teenagers.
- Familiarity with the BC curriculum or French Immersion standards is a strong asset.
- Excellent interpersonal, classroom management, and communication skills.
- Ability to pass a clear Criminal Record Check (Vulnerable Sector).
