Responsibilities

- Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and safety standards
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems, including Micros POS, to process customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Handle cash transactions, including cash handling and cashiering duties, with precision and integrity
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, kitchen equipment, and dining areas in compliance with food safety regulations
- Provide friendly customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance guest experience
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely food preparation and service delivery




- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and quality standards are met at all times

Skills

- Experience in food preparation and food service environments, preferably within a restaurant or quick-service setting
- Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, for efficient order processing
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities
- Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling techniques
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and inventory management
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining attention to detail in fast-paced situations
- Enthusiasm for upselling menu items to maximize sales opportunities
