One position has a weekly full time (overnight) schedule of (8pm -8am) 4 on - 4 offrotation at PCC. Job application closing date: September 17, 2026.

Overview:

Mistahimaskwa House: This program is for youth 12-19 who have been exposed to substance, physical and mental abuse, sexual exploitation, physical/mental trauma and who also have severe complex mental health needs. Mistahimaskwa/PCC is a program designed to help youth with their mental health needs in a residential setting with extra supports such as; higher ratios of staff and in collaboration with supports from Alberta Health Services who are on site daily. These are youth who currently cannot be supported in other residential setting. With the support from both CSS and AHS, we work clients using harm reduction principles and practices to which promote empowerment and stabilization.

Job Summary:

Reporting to the Team Leader, the Front Line Leader oversees the operations of the program in the absence of the Team Leader, generally outside of regular business hours. The Front-Line Leader also ensures the children and youth clients while located at the program facility experience a safe, warm, and positive environment where their basic needs are met (food, clothing, shelter, healthcare,



and safety). Additionally, the Front-Line Leader assists with training, supervising, and evaluating employees who provide direct services to clients with humility, compassion, and respect. This position also represents the Agency within the community and liaises with community partners.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Employee Management

- Understands, supports, promotes, and adheres to the Agency’s vision, mission, values, and organizational ethics, and treats all persons with humility, compassion, and respect
- Presents as a positive and professional role model and ambassador for the Agency in interactions with clients, stakeholders, and the public. Maintains respectful personal boundaries
- Communicates effectively and respectfully in a skilled and confidential manner with all Agency employees, and internal and external stakeholders
- Establishes and maintains respectful, collaborative working relationships with employees and key stakeholders
- Assists with day-to-day operations and programming of the program
- Assists with on-site orientation, training, and performance monitoring of program personnel, including part-time, contractual, overnight, weekend, volunteer, student, and casual workers
- Participates in the orientation of new employees
- Assists in preparing shift schedules for relief and additional shifts to ensure appropriate employee/shift coverage
- Monitors, supervises, and reports to the Team
