XRPANDA is a Canadian immersive technology company specializing in Virtual Reality solutions for aerospace and defense, manufacturing and Industry 4.0, and education and workforce development. The team designs immersive training, simulation, and interactive XR experiences focused on practical, real-world use cases. Through XRPANDA Gaming Studio, the company also creates original VR games and immersive entertainment experiences for platforms such as Meta Quest and other leading VR systems.

Applicants will join a multidisciplinary environment where cutting-edge VR technology is applied to both enterprise and entertainment projects.

We're looking for someone who is passionate about horror, storytelling, game design, and immersive experiences to collaborate with our team on an upcoming Horror VR game.

Whether you're a student, recent graduate, aspiring game designer, storyteller, or simply someone looking to gain real-world experience working with a game development team, we'd love to hear from you.

This is a 2-month collaborator opportunity focused primarily on gameplay and narrative design, rather than programming or technical development.

What you'll work on• Translate the game's story into a structured and engaging gameplay experience

- Brainstorm player paths, choices, actions, and interactions
- Develop ideas for jump scares, puzzles, clues, environmental interactions, and tension-building moments
- Explore ways to tell the story naturally through gameplay instead of relying only on dialogue or cutscenes
- Think from the player's perspective and make the experience immersive, unpredictable, and memorable
- Document gameplay flow, interactions, and narrative progression
- Collaborate directly with the XRPANDA team as the game develops

This is a fully remote collaboration, so yes, you can work from anywhere.
