Salary

From $31.24 to $33.95 per hour, in addition to annual allowances such as a $2,140 Correctional Service Specific Duty Allowance (CSSDA) and an Inmate Training Differential.

Persons residing in Canada, and Canadian citizens and Permanent residents abroad.

- Must be willing and able to work and lift tools, equipment and objects weighing at least 50 lbs when required (candidates may be required to pass a physical test in relation to this condition).
- Must be willing and able to work in a 24/7 operational environment.
- Must possess and maintain a valid provincial driver’s license.

Operational Requirements

- Must be willing to work overtime and flexible hours.
- Must be willing to perform duties at any of the locations within the cluster for which this position serves.
- Must be willing to work in correctional facilities.
- Must be willing to work with and/or mentor inmates, as needed.
- Willingness and ability to go to various places (e.g. confined spaces, roofs, construction sites, etc.).
