Your Next Challenge
Reporting to the Manager, Regional Finance & Strategy, you will be responsible for the management of office facilities, regional light vehicle fleets, asset protection initiatives, and care and maintenance activities across the region. This position plays a key role in ensuring safe, effective, and cost-effective operations that support both regional offices and mine sites.
You will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.
- Oversee the day-to-day management of Ontario Regional office locations in Timmins, Sudbury, North Bay, Kirkland Lake, and Atikokan, including building maintenance, Service and Supply agreements, access control, space utilization, and operational issue resolution;
- Manage the regional light vehicle fleet, including maintenance scheduling, registration, utilization reporting, procurement processes, and operational standards;
- Provide leadership and oversight for care and maintenance activities and asset protection initiatives within Ontario Regional properties;
- Coordinate and execute the establishment and operationalization of regional office locations to support organizational growth;
- Manage operating costs and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and asset utilization;
- Lead responses to facility and asset-related issues, including urgent building repairs and operational disruptions;
- Supervise and coach a diverse team, providing guidance, support, and performance leadership.
What You Need To Succeed
- College diploma or certificate in a related field;
- 7 to 10 years of progressive experience in facilities, asset management, operations, maintenance, security, or a related environment;
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience is considered an asset.
Your Work Schedule
- Schedule: 40 hours per week, from Monday to Friday;
- Occasional visits to site may also be required;
- Workplace: A combination of remote work and on-site work at one of our offices in Timmins, Kirkland Lake or Sudbury;
- Eligible for teleworking under Ontario Regional Teleworking Policy.
