Lead impactful substance use initiatives as a full-time Grants Specialist Senior with the Minnesota Department of Human Services. This role, eligible for telework, focuses on grant and contract management. In this position, you'll manage the lifecycle of culturally specific grants, collaborating with internal teams and Native American community leaders.
Your expertise in substance use prevention will be key as you navigate grant processes from pre-award to close-out. You'll engage with Tribal Nations and ensure programs meet crucial public health needs while maintaining solid partnerships. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee culturally specific grant processes and lifecycle
- Collaborate with community leaders and stakeholders
- Provide technical assistance and program support
- Monitor and evaluate grant budgets and expenditures
- Act as tribal liaison within substance use initiatives Requirements:
- Two years of experience with human services grants
- Knowledge of best practices in substance use prevention
- Understanding of grant management standards
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
