Role Description The Grill Cook is a full-time, on-site role based in Woodstock, ON. This role is responsible for preparing, grilling, and cooking menu items to established recipes, portion standards, and safety guidelines. Day-to-day tasks include setting up and maintaining the grill station, ensuring food quality and presentation, and following all food safety and sanitation procedures.

The Grill

Cook interacts with guests and team members, responds to food requests, and helps maintain a clean, organized kitchen and service area.



The role also involves supporting peak service times, restocking supplies, and working closely with the broader food service team to deliver consistent, high-quality meal experiences.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Food Preparation and Cooking, with the ability to follow recipes and portion standards.
- Experience in Food Service and Food & Beverage operations, ideally in a grill or quick-service environment.
- Solid Customer Service abilities, including courteous interaction with guests and responsiveness to requests.
- Knowledge of safe food handling, sanitation practices, and basic kitchen safety procedures.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, work in a fast-paced workplace, and handle moderate physical activity.
- Reliable time management, attention to detail, and teamwork skills.
- Prior experience as a grill cook or in a similar culinary role is an asset.
- Availability to work a full-time schedule, including possible evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.
