Act as a trusted advisor to managers and supervisors on employee relations, performance management, coaching, corrective action, and workplace investigations. Lead and support full-cycle recruitment efforts for hourly and salaried positions.
Support employee onboarding, development, retention, and recognition initiatives. Coordinate and execute annual HR programs, activities, and deadlines in alignment with the HR calendar. Assist with grievance management and support positive labor relations.
Deliver presentations, facilitate employee meetings,
and communicate HR initiatives effectively to diverse audiences. Maintain a strong presence on the production floor, building relationships and supporting employees where the work happens. Respond as needed to workplace incidents and support critical employee and safety-related matters.
You're a natural fit for HR Manager if you have: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, or related field. CHRP designation is considered an asset. Minimum 3 years of progressive Human Resources experience within a manufacturing, industrial, or unionized environment.
Strong knowledge of employee relations, performance management, recruitment, labor relations, and employment legislation. Exceptional communication, coaching, and relationship-building skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
