Flexible Outpatient Opportunity Near Toronto, Canada The Headache, Migraine & Concussion Centre (HMCC) is seeking an experienced physician to join our established community-based specialty clinic in Ajax, Ontario.

We welcome applications from physicians trained in Canada, the United States and the United Kingdom.

We are interested in connecting with:

- Neurologists and headache medicine specialists
- Anesthesiologists or anesthetists with chronic pain experience
- Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation physicians
- Family physicians with formal training and an established focused practice in headache or chronic pain medicine

Qualifications

Applicants must

- Hold an MD, DO or equivalent medical degree
- Be registered with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario, or be willing and potentially eligible to pursue Ontario registration
- Hold appropriate specialty certification or equivalent documented training
- Have current experience assessing and managing headache or chronic pain conditions




- Demonstrate documented competency for any interventional procedures they intend to perform
- Be committed to compassionate, evidence-based and patient-centred care

Headache medicine or chronic pain training is preferred. Experience administering Botox for chronic migraine, peripheral nerve blocks or trigger-point injections is a strong asset.

Canadian and International Applicants

HMCC welcomes qualified physicians trained in Canada, the United States and the United Kingdom.

Certain US board-certified physicians may qualify for an alternative CPSO registration pathway. Certain UK-trained specialists who completed recognized specialty training and certification may qualify under Ontario’s approved-jurisdiction pathway.

HMCC is located in Ajax, approximately 35 kilometres east of downtown Toronto, in the rapidly growing Durham Region. The location provides convenient access to the Greater Toronto Area while offering a welcoming community and a more balanced lifestyle outside the downtown core.
