Full-Time Brandt is currently seeking a Heavy Equipment Technician for our Trois-Riviere Construction & Forestry location. This position is responsible for performing basic/complex diagnostics, service maintenance and repair work on customer and/or dealer-owned equipment on an efficient basis. Efficiently and effectively evaluate the working condition of, diagnose, assemble/disassemble, order parts for, and repair heavy duty equipment Use secondary materials and equipment safely and efficiently Use related instruments, hand and power tools, secondary equipment, and computer systems Use computer applications and information systems (i.e.

John Deere Service

Advisor) to document maintenance, inspection,



and diagnosis Road test equipment and check attachment operation as required Outstanding knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Proven computer and technical aptitude and knowledge for diagnostics and calibration work. Robust communication skills, showing an appreciation of customer needs.

A commitment to high quality customer service with a strong people orientation. Demonstrated diagnostic skills to understand mechanical and technical equipment repair needs. Previous mechanical experience in a heavy equipment environment is preferred Enrolled as an Apprentice or certified Journeyperson in the heavy Duty Equipment technician trade or equivalent designated trade preferred Must be committed to customer service and service excellence Continuous Learning: through on-the-job training and educational opportunities.
