Responsibilities

- Lead lively hip hop dance classes tailored to various age groups and skill levels, ensuring an inclusive and inspiring atmosphere
- Design creative lesson plans that incorporate foundational dance techniques, rhythm exercises, and cultural elements of hip hop culture
- Foster a supportive environment where students feel confident to express themselves through movement
- Provide constructive feedback to help students improve their skills and build self-esteem
- Organize performances or showcases to celebrate student progress and boost community engagement
- Collaborate with parents, guardians,



or program coordinators to track student development and address individual needs
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized class environment that promotes positive learning experiences

Skills

- Proven experience in teaching hip hop dance or related performance arts with a lively, engaging style
- Strong background in tutoring or mentoring children and young adults in creative or educational settings
- Excellent classroom management skills with the ability to motivate diverse learners
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles is a plus for working with younger students
- Ability to incorporate elements of cooking or other creative activities into lessons for holistic learning experiences
- Effective communication skills to connect with students, parents, and team members
- Passion for hip hop culture, music, dance techniques, and fostering cultural appreciation
