We are looking for someone who is willing to be the face of our venue, leaving a positive first impression on our guests. The candidate must have experience in a fast-paced venue and be a quick learner that can provide great customer service.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly manner
- Check guests in
- Escort guests to assigned seats
- Coordinate with wait staff status' and out by times
- Notify server/managers of important notes (allergies/special requests)
- Assist wait staff as needed
Requirements:
- Previous work experience as a Host/Hostess in a high volume restaurant 2-3 years preferred
- Must have OpenTable experience
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays
- Must be proficient in a reservations system such as sevenrooms or opentable
- Able to walk/stand during entire shift
- A positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure with all restaurant staff members
- Excellent communication skills
- Must have legal documents to work in Canada
