Role Overview
This is a hands-on HR role supporting assigned client groups across the full employee lifecycle. You will build strong working relationships with managers and employees while delivering recruitment, onboarding, employee changes, performance processes, employee relations support, compensation analysis, offboarding, and accurate HR documentation.
The ideal candidate brings strong business partnering experience and a collaborative, solutions -focused approach. You are a team player, adaptable, quick to assess changing needs, and comfortable navigating ambiguity while balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Do
- Build and cultivate relationships with both management and employees to understand business needs.
- Deliver employee lifecycle processes end-to-end, including onboarding, employee changes (e.g., transfers, promotions, pay changes, leave of absences), performance management cycle activities, offboarding/terminations, and related communications, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and robust employee/leader experience.
- Act as a strategic advisor to management, providing consultation on people management, workforce planning, succession and talent development, leveraging data-driven insights to enable managers to make informed decisions.
- Manage full-cycle recruitment for assigned client groups, including preparing job descriptions, conducting intake meetings with hiring managers, posting roles, sourcing and screening candidates, coordinating interviews, recommending candidate selections, completing reference checks, and ensuring a positive candidate experience through onboarding handoff.
- Contribute to job evaluations and compensation analysis by gathering role information, assessing internal equity, and providing recommendations to support fairness, transparency, and market competitiveness.
- Providing support on sensitive and confidential people related matters (discipline,
performance improvement), ensuring consistent, fair, and well-documented processes.
- Ensure HR programs, policies, and practices for client groups are applied consistently and in compliance with applicable employment legislation, regulatory requirements, internal standards, and best practices.
- Maintain accurate, complete, and confidential documentation (employee files, case notes, letters, forms, system records) and follow established processes for recordkeeping and audit readiness.
- Partner with HR team members to continuously improve HR processes and policies, identifying gaps, incorporating feedback, and aligning to legislative changes.

What You Bring
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources, or a related discipline, with a minimum of 3 years of progressive HR experience;
- Aviation experience is an asset.
- Proven experience across core HR functions, including full-cycle recruitment, performance management, employee relations, HR administration, and project management.
- Strong knowledge of employment legislation, HR frameworks, and best business practices, with the ability to apply them in a practical, solutions-oriented manner.
- Solid problem-solving skills, with a results-driven and continuous improvement mindset.
- Strong judgment and discretion dealing with sensitive, confidential information.
- Highly effective communication skills including listening, verbal, written and presentation.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with ability to influence and advise stakeholders while providing solutions.
- Flexibility, with ability to work effectively with ambiguity and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Effective time management and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR systems, with the ability to leverage data and insights to inform decision-making.
