HRIS Analyst — 6-Month Contract

Soho Square Solutions is hiring an HRIS Analyst for a global financial services client supporting HR operations across Canada, and the US.

About the role

This is a high-throughput, operational HRIS role, not a strategic/BA seat. You'll manage a fast-paced, multi-channel daily workload across seven support streams: ticketing, HR mailbox, Jira, BAU/yearly tasks, system configuration, UAT testing, and SME advisory.

PeopleSoft is the core system. You'll be hands-on with configuration, mapping tables, and flag changes daily.

Schedule

- Onsite 3 days/week (mandatory); one of those days must be a Monday or Friday
- Must be local to the client's downtown office — no remote/relocation candidates

What you'll do

- Level 1 functional and technical troubleshooting
- Gather acceptance criteria and own UAT sign-off
- Hands-on PeopleSoft configuration and mapping




- Data tasks in Excel; Jira management
- Build and maintain relationships across HR and IT stakeholders
- Communicate clearly to senior, non-technical audiences

Required qualifications

- Minimum 4 years of HRIS experience (5-7 preferred)
- Hands-on PeopleSoft experience (configuration, mapping tables, flag changes)
- Strong Excel skills; Power BI a plus
- English required; Spanish a plus
- Global company experience is a strong plus; banking background not required

Nice to have

- Bachelor's degree (strong experience considered in lieu of a degree)
- PeopleSoft developer background, if paired with robust stakeholder/communication skills
