We are looking for an experienced and passionate Human Resources Manager to join our Atlantic HR team. Reporting to the Director, Human Resources, this role will support our Atlantic Canada Broker Partners by providing trusted HR guidance, driving employee engagement, and helping foster a positive and high-performing workplace culture.

What You'll Be Doing

As a key member of the HR team, you will partner closely with leaders and employees throughout the employee lifecycle. Your responsibilities will include:

HR Advisory

- Providing practical HR guidance and support to employees and managers.
- Coaching leaders on performance management, employee development, workplace conflict resolution, and policy interpretation.
- Supporting employee lifecycle activities, including the preparation of employment agreements.
- Acting as a trusted advisor on HR best practices and employment legislation.

Employee Relations & Performance Management

- Managing employee relations matters with professionalism, fairness, and consistency.
- Supporting investigations, documenting findings, and recommending appropriate actions.




- Assisting with performance management processes, performance reviews, and improvement plans.
- Helping leaders navigate challenging people situations while maintaining a positive employee experience.

HR Programs & Compliance

- Ensuring compliance with employment legislation and HR best practices.
- Supporting employee engagement, training, and development initiatives.
- Maintaining confidential and accurate employee records.
- Participating in HR due diligence activities related to acquisitions and organizational growth initiatives.

What You Bring

We're looking for a collaborative HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys building strong relationships across all levels of an organization.

Qualifications:

- 5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, ideally in an HR Manager or HR Business Partner capacity.
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practices.
- Demonstrated experience handling employee relations matters and performance management.
- Excellent communication, coaching, and relationship-building skills.
- Robust organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to confidentiality.
- Proficiency with HR systems and Microsoft Office applications
