We're looking for a Hydrogeologist to join our growing team in Fredericton, NB. We're a perfect sized employee-owned, 400-person multi-disciplinary consulting firm that is large enough to compete head-to-head with publicly traded engineering giants, but still small enough to maintain the culture and flexibility of a close-knit team. Our size and hands-on management style let us move quickly, embrace recent opportunities, and empower our people to shape their own careers-without getting lost in corporate bureaucracy.

Design field investigations such as drilling, coring and test pitting logging; monitoring well and groundwater/surface water instrumentation installation; soil, groundwater, sediment and surface water sampling; and private well monitoring. Prepare technical proposals and reports, including hydrogeological characterization assessments; impact assessments, groundwater supply and source water protection studies and approvals; quarry, mine pit and construction dewatering assessments and permitting; water balance assessments; and groundwater and surface water interaction and monitoring programs.

Fair pay plus extra:

competitive salary with year-end profit-sharing bonus. Complete health & dental coverage including vision, paramedical services, and Teladoc. Retirement planning made easier with a 5% employer match on your contributions.

Paid time off (vacation and sick days) plus Employee & Family Assistance Program when you need it. Office year-end closure (paid time off between Christmas and the New Year). Bachelor's degree in earth science, environmental science or geological/geotechnical/civil engineering with an emphasis in water resources or hydrogeology. ~ Knowledge and understanding of provincial and federal regulatory frameworks for groundwater withdrawal/use, drinking water supply, contaminated sites assessment and management, and environmental assessment is required. ~ Familiarity with infrastructure, pit and quarry dewatering as well as exploration and development of community water supplies is required, with specific experience in the mining industry considered an asset. ~ Groundwater flow and transport modeling experience is considered an asset. ~ Should you be selected for an interview and require accommodation of any kind, please kindly help us understand how we can help. #
