This full time role emphasizes trauma-informed care and cultural sensitivity in Langley, British Columbia. As an Indigenous Child, Youth, and Family Advocate at Encompass, you will support Indigenous individuals and families who have faced trauma with compassion and cultural knowledge.

Your role involves collaboration with community partners and delivering holistic support through a culturally safe lens. Emphasizing participant-centered care, you will facilitate informed decision-making while providing advocacy and referrals. Key Responsibilities:

- Support Indigenous families victimized by crime
- Collaborate with trauma support services team




- Facilitate access to community resources
- Promote informed, participant-centered decision-making
- Provide advocacy during appointments and paperwork Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in human/social services or related field
- Minimum three years in community social services
- Experience with Indigenous cultural practices
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
