We’re looking for an Intermediate Interior Designer who takes pride in their work, brings care to the process, and has a passion for design that is timeless with a refined edge. You’ll contribute across all project phases — from early concept through construction administration — alongside a talented team of architects, designers, and technologists. You have an eye for the finer details and genuinely enjoy the problem-solving side of design You have a high bar for your own work, and it shows in your drawing sets You’re self-motivated, manage your time well, and communicate clearly when you need to loop someone in You notice when something could be improved — and follow through You get energized contributing to a creative team — not just executing, but adding to the conversation What You’ll Be Doing Contribute across all project phases — from programming and schematic design through construction documentation and administration Support the development of material selections, FF&E;, colour palettes, and lighting, and help communicate those choices clearly to clients Develop interior plans, elevations, details,
and specifications with care and precision Coordinate with the architecture team and consultants to keep design intent consistent across all documentation Participate in site visits and support construction administration as the project progresses What You Bring ~4+ years of experience in an architectural or interior design studio, with a focus on high-end residential design ~ Proficiency in Revit, SketchUp, Enscape, Bluebeam, and Adobe Suite; 3D rendering experience – confident enough to problem-solve and share knowledge ~ Working knowledge of the BC Building Code and Step Code ~ Experience producing drawing packages across multiple project phases ~ Strong attention to detail and an organized approach to multi-phase project work ~ Clear written and verbal communication skills,with your team, with clients, and with the drawings themselves ~ Interior Design degree or diploma, preferably from a CIDA-accredited program; NCIDQ certification (completed or in progress) is an asset The Benefits Extended health, dental, and vision perks Group RRSP plan Paid vacation, paid Summer Fridays, and additional paid days in December Support for continuing education, certifications, professional memberships, and conferences Passive House certification support Team adventures and activities To see our recent work visit stark.ca @starkarchitecture
