Become a pivotal force in environmental research as an Intermediate Field Technician with WSP in Mississauga, ON. As an Intermediate Field Technician on the Surface Water team, you'll engage in hands-on environmental projects that matter.
You'll be involved in surface water monitoring, equipment installation, and field surveying, with approximately 75-85% of your time spent in the field. This position requires a commitment to safety, travel to remote sites, and flexibility during peak seasons. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead safe field programs and develop health and safety plans
- Conduct flow measurements and topographic surveys for water resource decision-making
- Coordinate field materials and travel logistics for remote programs

- Contribute to field-data compilation and analysis for deeper insights Requirements:
- Diploma or degree in environmental science or related field
- Experience in stream monitoring and field survey methods
- Valid Class G driver's license with clean abstract
