Role Description The Investment Analyst is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Montreal Metropolitan Area. This role involves conducting detailed financial and market analysis on current and potential AI company acquisitions, including building and maintaining financial models, assessing investment opportunities, and evaluating portfolio performance.

The Investment

Analyst will prepare investment memos, presentations, and reports for internal and external stakeholders, and support due diligence processes by reviewing financial statements, operations, and market positioning. Working closely with senior leadership, the analyst will contribute to portfolio management strategies, track key performance indicators, and help optimize the commercial scaling of acquired companies.

Qualifications

- Strong investment and portfolio management skills, including experience with Investments and Portfolio Management.
- Advanced analytical capabilities, demonstrating robust Analytical Skills applied to complex financial and market data.
- Solid finance knowledge and experience, including Finance and Financial Modeling for forecasting, valuation, and scenario analysis.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business,



or a related field; advanced degree or professional designation (e.g., CFA) is an asset.
- Proficiency in spreadsheets, financial analysis tools, and presentation software; experience with data visualization is beneficial.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present insights clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated attention to detail, critical thinking, and the ability to work collaboratively in a rapid-paced, high-growth environment.
- Interest in AI, technology, and global markets; prior exposure to tech or high-growth companies is an advantage.
