MS Customer Engineer/ IT Support Technician

Location: Richmond Hill, ON

Work Model: Onsite

Duration: 6-Month Contract (October 1, 2026 – April 1, 2027)

Pay Rate: $35 - $40/hour CAD

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Provide deskside and IT walk-up support for end users
- Troubleshoot and resolve PC hardware, software, and device issues
- Perform PC deployments, rollovers, upgrades, repairs, and configurations
- Set up and support laptops, desktops, peripherals, and office workstations
- Support Microsoft Teams conference rooms and AV equipment
- Configure and maintain Android scanners and mobile devices
- Assist with basic network connectivity and port patching activities
- Deliver VIP/executive technical support with high service standards
- Support office moves, workstation setups, and minimal migration tasks
- Document incidents and collaborate with team members to ensure timely resolution of technical issues.

REQUIREMENTS:

- 2+ years of experience in Desktop Support, Deskside Support, or IT Field Services
- Experience with PC hardware repair, break/fix, and device deployment




- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications
- Experience supporting laptops, desktops, printers, and peripheral devices
- Knowledge of network connectivity and basic port patching
- Experience with Microsoft Teams room and conference room support
- Ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to nearby sites when required
- Ability to work in an onsite, fast-paced workplace

NICE TO HAVE:

- Experience supporting Android scanners and mobile devices
- Previous VIP/Executive support experience
- Experience in manufacturing or enterprise environments
- Knowledge of IT ticketing systems and asset management tools

IMPORTANT NOTE:

- This is a fully onsite position based in Richmond Hill, Ontario.
- Travel may occasionally be required to support nearby client sites within driving distance.
- Candidate will work within a collaborative team environment and provide direct end-user support.
